Ricoh to showcase cutting-edge Printing Technologies at drupa 2024

An array of applications will showcase the production possibilities of Ricoh’s broad technology portfolio.

Ricoh will showcase cutting-edge printing solutions at drupa 2024 in Hall 8a of Messe Düsseldorf, Germany, from May 28 to June 7. The focal point of their exhibit will be the HENKAKUVERSE, a virtual production environment, demonstrating how Ricoh’s technologies enhance printing operations.

The Dragon, or RICOH ProTM Z75 B2 sheetfed digital inkjet press, will make its European debut. This B2 perfecting (auto-duplexing) sheetfed inkjet platform uses aqueous ink, offering higher print quality and faster turnaround times.

Also debuting is the RICOH ProTM VC80000 digital color high-speed inkjet webfed press, known as the Harpy Eagle. It features AI capabilities and new-generation Ricoh printheads, delivering exceptional print quality and productivity in commercial, book, and direct mail printing.

Ricoh will showcase two new digital color sheetfed presses – the Jaguars. The RICOH ProTM C9500, a next-generation 135ppm press, offers increased revenue streams and operational efficiency through labor-saving automation. The RICOH ProTM C7500 features agile, versatile, and responsive toner-based technology.

Ricoh’s commitment to sustainability is evident in all its showcased technologies. The company recently received a double A score from the CDP for climate change and water security, along with its 12th inclusion among the Global 100 Most Sustainable Corporations list.

The software area will focus on production automation, featuring solutions like RICOH TotalFlowTM Producer, RICOH SupervisorTM, and FusionPro® for personalized data-driven communications. Ricoh will also highlight its Professional Services consultancy offer, including extensive color management support.

To demonstrate the transformative potential of their technologies, Ricoh will feature an immersive theater experience showcasing the HENKAKUVERSE and its business opportunities. Visitors can also explore a print bar and applications garden displaying client cases and samples from Ricoh’s large format systems.

Eef de Ridder, Vice President, Graphic Communications Group, Ricoh Europe, expressed excitement about creating a partnership environment focused on co-innovation. He stated, “We are looking forward to helping visitors unlock business-evolving opportunities with an eye on sustainable production that will enable them to responsibly shape their business success.”
